Unlike language-learning apps, here you are in direct contact with native English speakers, who can adapt the lessons to your personal wishes and learning goals. As always, we only refer you to language schools that we know and whose teaching quality we check regularly.
The British schools offer various formats of online courses: 1:1 lessons are ideal for anyone who has special course requirements and wants to make rapid progress. You can then arrange the details of your virtual lessons personally with the language teacher. There is also the option of taking English lessons together in small groups; here you can register as an individual or team up with friends and colleagues who also want to improve their language skills. Our partner schools have very good-value offers, particularly for group courses. For students taking the German Abitur, one of our partner schools even offers a special online Abitur preparation course.
How does an online English course work?
The great advantage of online courses is that you can learn English wherever you are with certified language teachers from England. The schools have come up with various ways of designing such courses and offer English lessons via different virtual channels. You can take an online English course via Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, by telephone or on other platforms. The schools will be happy to accommodate you if you would like to choose another means of communication and will also support you in setting up the relevant programs.
