Boarding schools in Southern England
Sun, sea and a mild climate
The south of England is known mainly as a holiday destination, as this is where the famous English seaside resorts of Brighton, Bournemouth and Eastbourne are located. But the region also has some highly recommendable boarding schools with a wide range of attractions. We have partner schools in historic Bath and even on the Isle of Wight.
Below you will find an overview of some of our partner schools:
Boarding school in Hampshire
Lord Wandsworth College
Lord Wandsworth College was founded in 1928 as a boarding school for orphans and still sees itself as a real home today. The boarding school is in a very rural location in Hampshire, only 80 km from London. Treating one another with respect and mutual consideration are at the heart of the school’s philosophy. Scholarships for orphans are still awarded today. The 485-hectare campus is almost a kind of village: not only the boarders but also many teachers and staff live here. The college has room for many sports and music activities, for example dance, climbing and kayaking.
