Girls' boarding school in the Midlands
Adcote School
Adcote School for Girls is in a very rural location in the county of Shropshire, surrounded by farmland and hills. The girls’ boarding school was founded in 1907 and achieves very good academic results. The school building dates from the 19th century and is surrounded by extensive parkland and gardens. The boarding school offers a wide range of subjects and leisure options. In addition to sports such as riding and tennis, as well as music and drama, the school can offer textile design and public speaking, among other things. Thanks to recent developments, including the construction of new boarding houses, Adcote is now able to look after its students during some holiday weeks as well – a real rarity at British boarding schools.

The traditional house system contributes to a strong sense of community among the students and is at the heart of their sense of belonging.
