GMAT preparation in England

Language test for MBAs

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

The GMAT assesses suitability for master’s programmes at business schools, including MBA programmes. The test consists of an essay, a section of questions on interpreting data and statements, and two multiple-choice questionnaires.

In the essay (“Analytical Writing Assessment Section”), a given topic must be analysed in 30 minutes. In the second part (“Integrated Reasoning Section”), twelve questions on various data sources (tables, charts) are asked in 30 minutes. The last pair of questionnaires (“Quantative Section” and “Verbal Section”) each have to be completed in 75 minutes. The first questionnaire tests mathematical, logical and quantitative knowledge. The second questionnaire tests verbal-analytical ability, English grammar and reading comprehension. Unlike the TOEFL, the test is not a pure language test but rather measures the analytical and logical abilities of the candidate.

There are many test dates throughout the year. For optimal preparation, we arrange GMAT preparation courses in England.

The test can be retaken several times and remains valid for up to five years.
